PSN restoration and customer appreciation

Does Sony  not care about Canada... Fucking Racists

Okay as you may know that PSN is back up, and we are still waiting for full service. Playstation Store and some other services like Qriocity and Sony Online Entertainment are still offline. Of course you can get all this information on playstation blog, like this extremely useless map with Canada completely ignored. None the less. I for one am glad Sony is releasing more info then earlier in the outage. Even if they can't tell us exactly when the additional service will be up, they are stating with in a few more days. What is their word mean to us anymore, first they told us that this was going to be fixed May 4th or some shit.

Okay because Sony isn't a complete asshole. They are giving us a bunch of free shit to try and win some loyalty back. I think it is a smart tactic, my friend who is a xbox gamer, will be dusting off his PS to get some free games. These are the free games you get;
Each Playstation Network user can select two PS3 games;

• Dead Nation
• inFAMOUS
• LittleBigPlanet
• Super Stardust HD
• Wipeout HD + Fury

Each of these games are worth about ten to fifteen bucks, I would suggest inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet if you don't already own them. I already have LittleBigPlanet and Dead Nation, so I am left with three choices. Okay PSP owners also get to choose two to PSP games;

• LittleBigPlanet
• ModNation Racers
• Pursuit Force
• Killzone Liberation

I do not own a PSP, but I am planning to buy a PSP Go soon. I am not sure if you have to have a registered PSP or not, but I am going to try to download them anyway. This isn't all you get.

Non Playstation Plus members will be receiving a free month and existing member will receives two monthes free, considering we missed a month already. Same goes for Music Unlimited Premium members. A selection of movie rentals will be available over one weekend, those titles will be announced soon. Playstation Home  will be offering 100 free virtual items, Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Playstion Home Mansion, and Ooblag's Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

I don't really care about the Playstation Home shit but the rest is pretty sweet. The games mentioned above are available for shortly 30 days after Playstation Store is restored. Well guys, that is pretty fucking sweet and should give us gamers a lot more play time in the next couple of monthes, then the month before. I just check, and as of May 18, 3:11 pm Mountain Time the store is still down. I got to go, see if I can get a few COD rounds in before the second half of my split shift. Game on.
