NHL Playoffs

Fucking NHL playoffs again. This is pretty much the only time I watch hockey. I know, being a Canadian that is a sin. I am not a big hockey fan. I go for whatever Canadian team makes it the farthest., and right now Vancouver is the only team in. I think they shouldn't be in it, they barely made it. Montreal was eliminated in game seven, in overtime. I was really hoping the Canadiens would go farther then they did, but oh well. Ce qui la baise!, Canadiens! (I know that France French, not Quebecois).

Classic
The playoffs last way too long, and it gets boring. I do tend to play a lot of EA sports NHL, during the playoffs. Right now I only have NHL 09 and NHL 95. Personally I like the 95 version better. I have been playing a lot of it. I like how it's not blades of steel. In blades of steel, it's pretty much a guarantee that if you go behind the net and shoot, you will always beat the goalie. Be a pro mode in NHL 09 is fun and it is cool to only play as one guy and progress him from AHL to NHL, up to first line. It takes for fucking ever to get to the playoff, I only done it once and I was elimitated first round. That hurts, it's a long haul to just lose.

I would really like to check out NHL 11, might go out and rent it see if it is worth buying. Buying sport games, to me is a little tough. With them coming out every year it is hard to keep up. Also the value goes down so quickly with new games coming out every year. So who are you going for in the playoffs? What team do you think will make it all the way?

The graphics improved a little since '95

Dono yōna seikō Sony

As you might know Playstation Network was attacked on April 19th, Playstation Network was shut down a day later. About four days after the initial hack, Sony announced that the personal information and credit card numbers of 77 million users may be compromised. Sony also stated that they didn't find any theft of credit card numbers, but to look out for any suspicious charges. Kaz Hirai,  the head of Sony's gaming division, is speaking to the press on Sunday about the network hack, Sony is also releasing it's most detailed update the same date.

Will this patch fix the network outage? Is my information and fucking credit card number safe?! I am not very impressed. In fact U.S. congress isn't very impressed either, homeland security is helping Sony with the hack. Homeland security is worried that the hackers aren't from the gaming community and could use the information gathered for identity fraud. U.S. congress believes that the hackers might create an false identity for the use of terrorism. What the fuck is this? Cyber terrorism? I don't know about the terrorism threat, and as a Canadian, I don't give a fuck what homeland does. I am fucking worried about my credit, motherfuckers! If I get ripped off from play video games, I am going to lose my shit! I wonder if the Canadian government is concerned at all, most likely not, considering it is election time. Sony will have to figure their shit out, maybe go with a PayPal account or something similar. I am sure Sony Playstation users numbers will decline a bit, sure some COD players have already bought X Boxes.

This might be the end of free online gameplay for Playstation. I haven't heard anything about this, there has been plenty of rumours in the past. Countless times I have argued with X Box players about the current freedom of Playstation Network. After this attack, things might change, it's the first major thing that has gone wrong with PSN. X Box Live does have better online gameplay, with a charge to play PSN, it might improve gameplay. A Playstation Network fee could be used for a better and safer online experience. Who knows what the fuck is going to happen,I'll try to keep ya posted.

Where would we be without you DOOM

I really don't want to do a game review this Friday. I haven't been playing other then DOOM, mainly DOOM II. Really I haven't even been playing through the game, more just deathmatches and working on levels. Funny thing, I haven't beat Call of Duty: Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2. I just play their online, and fuck is it good. We were talking about DOOM right? If it weren't for DOOM, Call of Duty wouldn't be around. We also can't say that DOOM started the first person shooter genre. Wolfenstein 3D came out before DOOM but was also done by id software. That wasn't the first, first person perspective game, 3D Monster Maze was credited as the first.

I guess we should start will Wolfenstein 3D, you play as B.J. Blazkowic trying to escape Castle Wolfenstein, and take down the Nazi regime. The game play consist of complete episodes, each episode is made up of ten levels. One of these levels is a bonus level so it's nine levels per episode. To complete a level, one must reach the exit door at the end of the level. This is the main structure of Wolfenstein and Doom. It is quite linear compared to todays standards but mind blowing back then.

DOOM just sort of took Wolfstein 3D and rev'd it up to top gear. In DOOM you are a space marine working for Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC). UAC has a scientific lab on Mar's Moon Phobos. In this lab UAC is working on teleportation, by using gateways from Phobos to another Martian Moon Deimos. During the research something goes wrong and a portal is open in hell. Demons and spirits from hell appear on Phobos and infect or kill the residents of the UAC lab. The unnamed marine and his squad in called in and you are left to guard the barracks. Over the radio you hear screams and gunfire but never hear back from you squad.

So it up to you to stop the forces of hell from reaching earth. Both story lines of the games are never actually in the game, just in the instruction manuals. The game starts at the begiining of the action and that is good with me. Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM were released as shareware for DOS, it did extremely well quick. I would really like to tell you about id software, how they formed and developed Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM. It is a very interesting story, reminded me of facebook's story really.

It is easy enough to find out the story online with wikipedia or alike. I just really want to talk about about deathmatch and user created content. id software were pioneers for the gaming industry, their games were the first to allow players to read code and edit their own levels and entire games if they wanted. I think this is one of the main reason DOOM did so well and was played for so long. People today still make levels for DOOM. Plus deathmatch, one of the biggest feature in games today is the ability to play against non computer enemies.

User creation is some of the cool thing to happen to games. I was into making levels in DOOM when it first came out, I was to young and the program was just too hard for me. I make levels now as you can tell. Other games incorporated other form of creation, one I can think of is Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. You could create your own skatepark, save it a memory card and play it at a friends house. Or how about Little Big Planet the game completely made from user created content. Of course the game what made by a develop, Media Molecule, and includes 50 original levels, but today there is close to 3 million user created levels online. Shit let's not forget Excitebike, I made some bad ass tracks.

A majority of gamers today mainly play Call of Duty online multiplayer. It is amazing how many people exclusively only play Call of Duty. I mean it is a great game and I think has some of the best online gameplay to date. Quake was the first game the really got the deathmatch game play rolling. I knew tons of kids that play quake like there was no tomorrow. Quake was one the first game to hold tournaments, Quake just took head to head multiplayer to a new level. Quake is also a id software product.

We all can thank id software for shaping the face of gaming to what it is today. This out Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM and Quake game would be a lot different. I all so want to apologize for this post, I really didn't feel like writing today, so if this post is shit you know why.

Thank you Viewers!

I just wanted to say thank you to all my viewers! It only has been a couple months, and things are going great. I especially want to thank my Singaporean audience, third highest amount of viewers, just under Canada and The States. I was surprised of all of the international viewership, I am getting an audience made up of German, Indian, Swedish, Chinese, Philippino, and Russian to name a few. It's comforting own there is such a diversity to gamers.

You all know, I talk completely out of my ass most the time, I am always ranting about release dates and franchise differences in North America, to Japan. I also want to thank Japan, in your time of crisis. Without Japan, I believe, video games would have a completely different look and feel. Isn't Microsoft the only completely North American company to make a console? Well Atari was developed in North America, but the current patent is held by France company Infogrames Inc.

I have fun talking about games and researching them. One thing I love about gaming, is meeting other gamers. Real gamers, you can tell if someone is a passionate gamer. We might have different taste, some people are RPGers, others are strictly First Person Shooter players. So I want to be hearing from you guys, comment, Comment, COMMENT!!!I want to know what you guys think.

Well thanks again guys, and keep on gaming!

Doom Builder

This is a video of my unfinished first level, build it on doombuilder 2. It is about half finished.

Getting Old

The fact that I am turning 25 next year is getting to me. Quarter of a century, under my belt, starting to become old balls Mcgee. That doesn't matter though, the girl I am with right now tells me all the time that I act like a 12 year old. This is alittle harsh coming from a girl four years younger then me. But I am not the only one getting old. Video Games have been around longer then me, they have played a role in my entire life.

When I was born in 1987, vids have been around for a few years already. PONG was released in 1972, that was the the arcade model, then in 1975 Sears released a home console edition. I am not to worried about arcades games though, don't get me wrong I love arcades. While I was growing up, arcades where taking a hard hit with console gaming becoming so popular. I am not going to lie I thought the SEGA Genesis was the first console for SEGA. Boy was I wrong, SEGA Master System was the arch enemy of Nintendo Entertainment System. Nintendo released in North America in 1985 and SEGA Master System (SMS) was released the same year I was born, 1987.

I was well aware of the rivalry between Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. SEGA and Nintendo were fighting before then. SMS didn't do well in North America and Japan. In other countries like Europe and Oceanic and Brazilian markets, SEGA actually did better then Nintendo. I am still getting ahead of myself, SEGA first system was called SEGA Game 1000 or SG-1000. It was released in Japan the same day as the Nintendo Entertainment System, in 1983. Surprisingly SG-1000 did unbelievable in Taiwan's secondary market even with all of the mock and pirated systems like, Famicon. SG-1000 has many add ons, namely SG-1000 II, and SC-3000 the computer equivalent of the SG-1000. The original SG-1000 was never released in North America. So if you have one hold on to it.

One of my earliest gaming memories was, playing one of the Final Fantasies. My older step Brother was convince I couldn't play it because I was around three years old. Not knowing how to read could really put a damper on playing games with lots of text. I don't remember exactly how things went down, but I ended up beating the part they were stuck on. They came home, I have three older step Brothers, and where shocked that I beat Final Fantasy for them. I have been playing Video Games since I can remember. I went from Nintendo Entertainment System, to a SEGA Genesis, then a Nintendo 64. I stayed at Nintendo 64 for a very long time, then a X Box. Once I turned eighteen, Video Games took a back burner, I was busy with life and all that come with it. In 2005 I did something I don't think I would ever do again, I sold my Video Games.

It was almost four more years before I got another system, a Playstation 2. A did end up selling that about a year later and got a Playstation 3. Just because I didn't own a Super Nintendo, Playstation or some of the other one, doesn't mean I didn't play them. I also owned Nintendo Game Boy, and a bunch of other handhelds. I major part of gaming career was involved in SEGA Genesis and Nintendo 64.

Nintendo 64 was a game changer, I remember the first time I played Super Mario 64 in 1996, I was blown away. The graphics and controls were off the hook. I have seen some impressive graphic before this, mainly the SEGA CD had some very impressive looking games. N64 wasn't the first 64 bit game system around, Atari Jaguar had a 64 bit processor first, it came out three years earlier in 1993. The Atari Jaguar was a commercial failure and forced Atari to drop out of the home console gaming market. One of the best Alien vs Predator was released for Atari Jaguar.

Sony got into the game late with the Sony Playstation, their first home console, released in 1994. The Playstation only had a 32 Bit processor, but utilized it well. The first Playstation was discontinued on my 20th birthday, March 23 2006. That is a long life for a console. I was too busy playing N64 to bother with Playstation, but a lot of my friends had one. One of the coolest features was the ability to play CDs, this was a huge step for a more multi-use console.

When I first got a X Box, released by Microsoft in 2001, I was really impressed, other then the size of the fucking thing and how loud it was. This is around the time I started smoking weed and found that gaming and dope smoking went hand it hand. Halo was pretty much the coolest thing around, I remember going to all the local teenager hang out spots. Everyone was smoking bongs and passing around the controller to the next halo player. Halo was huge in our group of friends, everyone played that shit. We even held parties where we had deathmatch tournaments.

That was my teenage years, as a young adult, like I said earlier, I was too busy for Video Games. Too much partying for my our good. Pussy and social life was more important to me. One thing I found, girls don't like gamers very much. I have met some gamer girls but they are far and few between. Nothing sexier then a hot gamer girl, but that is like finding a unicorn. Damn near mythical.

Now a days, games are all over the place. One thing I hate, so much, are those flash games that are so popular on facebook right now. I remember when flash games started to come out and they were pretty cool, I played tons when I was a pre-teen at newgrounds.com. Now though, the games on facebook, especially farmville and shit like that, when I play a game I don't want to wait till the next day to advance on. Whats the point of playing for five minutes, then waiting for hours and hours to do something else. I should suggest Harvest Moon to all the Farmville players.

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) are big right now too. I don't think a single person doesn't know what World of Warcraft (WOW) is. I was a huge Warcraft, Command and Conquer and Starcraft fan. I am not much of a computer gamer, but I did play these ones, a lot. I don't know much about MMORPGs I never played Final Fantasy XI, but I know tons of people who swear by it. The newest MMORPG is DC Universe and it looks really good. I tried WOW, their free month demo. It did nothing for me I played it all month but that was it. just wasn't a game I could get into.

Well I have been ranting for quite a while. I missed tons and I could talk about games until I die. The advancements made in the last thirty years in unbelievable. I am really looking forward to see what the next thirty years has to offer.

New Releases April 26th 2011

Okay, new releases today are a little weird this week. My sources are starting to confuse me, dates aren't making sense. Some games are pushed back, other titles are released for different system at different times. Every region has a different release dates. PC games (which I don't cover in new releases) mostly don't come out on Tuesdays like most console games. Console game sometime don't exclusively come out on Tuesday either, and PSN and XBLA games tend to come out on Wednesdays. Lots of times the same game for PSN and XBLA come out on different dates.

This week is fucking with me big time. I forgot it was Tuesday and I usually write this post Monday night. Just forgot and was a little stressing about writing it all today. This week though, barely has any games coming out and I think some of them are already out. I am glad because when there is ten new games coming out, it takes me a long time to research them all. Far as I can tell there is only one game coming out today and I am pretty sure it was released already. There is also two Playstation Network and X Box Live Arcade releases coming out before the end of the month, I think one is already out on one of the systems. Let get this shit started...

Operation Flashpoint: Red River (PS3/Xbox360/PC)
April 26th 2011
Developers: Codemasters
Publishers: Codemasters
Genre: Tactical Shooter

This is like the fifth or something installment of a series I have heard nothing about. That many games and I heard nothing about it, that can't be a good sign. There is a overflow in the market of military and war games. With so much shit first person and tactical shooter out there it is very hard to find a niche. I heard this game has no competitive online play, come on really who the fuck is going to buy a game that is only offline. Can't pwn noobs? Why play?

Outland (XBLA/PSN)
April 27th 2011
Developer: Ubisoft
Publisher: Housemarque
Genre: Platform cross over/ Top down Shooter

Outland, combines elements of top-down shooters like Ikaruga with classic two-dimensional platform gameplay. It kind of looks like it has a  little contra influence too. I've seen a trailer and it looks fun and promising. Games on PSN and XBLA can be good buys, games are usually 15 bucks or under and you can find some really good gems. Buyer beware; if the game is worth 2 bucks it's probably shit.

MoonDiver (XBLA/PSN)
PSN: March 29th 2011
XBLA: May 4th 2011
Developer: feelplus
Publisher: SquareEnix
Genre: Side Scrolling Platfrom

My sources told me that this game was coming out on April 30th, but I think the dates are above are more accurate. MoonDiver is from SquareEnix and I dont ever remember playing any platform by them. This one could be hit or miss, I like a ton of stuff from SqaureEnix, but they have been known to put out some crap. This one looks okay and I really like the titties on those animated babes. God Bless Japan, remember to donate to Red Cross to help Japan in their time of need. I know you can donate through your Playstation Network account.

More DOOM

This is sort of a test post for embedding videos, I have used HTML for my IAM:BMEzine profile. Still, I barely know the basics. I know HTML is the way to go if you want absolute control over what goes on your page. But anyway I made a few videos of some DOOM deathmatches using skulltag. The video quality is fucking terrible and I was getting my ass kicked. The set up I am using is the lowest of low budget and anyone with a computer can do it, I play either DOOM or some emulator, and use manycam to feed my game window to blogtv.com. I am going to try a few other techniques so I don't need to record my blogTV session. This will most likely let skulltag run a lot smoother.

DOOM Online

My recent obsession has been trying to get my DOOM wads working. Somebody told me about Skulltag, a server made to run DOOM and other ID wads on newer Windows operating systems, also they have Linux and Mac versions. I download it and installed it, it worked fine till I tried to go online. Skulltag uses a server called Doomseeker, every time I tried to join a game it said I was missing a Doom2wad. I couldn't understand.

I decided to uninstall Skulltag and look around online for help, the solution was simple. All you to do is make a file, name it something like Doom or something a like. Then extract the zip into this folder and also install it into that folder. Move any wads files in to this folder and everything should work out fine. Use to Doomseeker to search for lobbies and create your own. Skulltag allows several mods, skins, sounds, and a cool announcer which can also be modded. Most lobbies are created with a combation of wads and you will need them all to play. Don't worry the server uses a thing called wadfinder, it searches online for your miss pwads to play. Sometimes it takes awhile, other time it's pretty quick.

Modded wads are really common to find and I got into a really cool Black Ops themed level. It is done really well. You can choose premade classes with different perks or make your own. The weapons are really well done, and every one of them has a zoom mode. I found this really unique for a DOOM mod, never seen this before. I tried to record a few sessions with ManyCam, but it was just black with sounds, that blew chunks. I played that for a while and moved on, I tried to go back but couldn't find it again. I don't know if wadfinder actually downloads them permanently, or not. I looked but no dice.

A Megaman Wad
I am still pretty new at running Skull Tag, there still tons I haven't figured out, but I know enough to play against other people around the world and it's still as fun as it was in the 90s. Oh I almost forgot, I downloaded the wad made by Eric Harris, one of the two shooters involved in Columbine High School Massacre. Harris, and Dylan Klebold killed 15 people including themselves and wounding 24 other. The wad is called UAC Labs, and none of the levels looked a school. There were rumors that the kids used DOOM as a practice run for the shooting, later that was denounced. The monsters' death animation was amped up though, and it was a little fucked playing levels created by a murder.

Everyone should get Skulltag up and running and start fag the shit out of everything, and I am thinking about doing a splatterhouse wad I think that would be amazing. Game on kids, Peace Out.

SkullTag

Okay, I am not much of a PC gamer, but it so happens to be that one of my favorite game originated on the PC. Doom, I love Doom in any form. Right now I am trying to figure out to run Skulltag or ZDOOM, I can play single player and every other mode except multiplayer. And whats the point of Doom without multiplayer? I got the iwads and the servers, just can't figure out how to get multiplayer going. I can even get the doomseeker application going. I have look around on the internet and everywhere is saying as long as the iwad of doom or doom 2 is in the same file as skulltag is should work.

It was enough trouble getting my sony dualschock 3 controller to work for it, single is still fun enough to play around on. That was almost a full day project, pretty simple thought. Just download a driver mod and install in your driver list. Getting to your driver list was a challenge for sure. I am not computer whiz, but you have to get you computer to run in test mode to enable driver changes. Don't ask me how I managed that one, I just watched some youtube videos like any other thing I need to do on the computer.

I watched a couple videos on youtube for the Skulltag doom server, but it was what everyone else was telling me just make sure the iwads are in the same folder. I only think I can think of now is to delete the skulltag and wads and redownload them. Maybe if I start from scratch it will work out better. If anyone has any idea how to fix this let me know.

What a night

First off, let me say I do drugs, kinda always have. As the late great Hunter S Thompson said, " I hate to advocate drugs or liquor, violence, insanity to anyone. But in my case it's worked." And i my case it sort of worked. Hard as I try, I alway find self exploration of the mind is the best for drugs.

When ask what my drug of choice i, I reply, cocaine. I can't lie, if I was rich as shit, I would do it everyday. For video games, when I do cocainem it always reminds me of bust a move. I am pretty sure we had it for playstation original. Me and my buddy used to live in this trailer and use to do a lot of coke. Whenever we were tweaked out, we would play bust a move like it was our job.

For drugs and video games that was the top of the list. The next was sonic and mushrooms, I loved that game when I was young like 15. Run around in warp speed only to run into a badnik and lose all your rings. Now that is trippy as shit.

One time I remembered, my friend in a wheelchair got a shit ton of shrooms. We played rush 2049 for SEGA dreamcast, I am sure that is the trippiest game of all time. All I am trying to say is that drugs and video games go together. Pretty much weed goes hand in hand, like white on rise, for video games.

Just figured a little background would explain my post a little before, anything you read is under the influence of weed or worse. So please be patience with my work.

Undead Nightmare

Today’s review is going to be a short one considering that, It is a add on. Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, doesn’t feel like a add on though. It feels like a whole new game. You don’t have to complete Red Dead Redemption to enjoy Undead Nightmare, but it does help you understand some jokes and back story.  I am a huge zombie fan so lets get started.

Rockstar does a great job representing classic B rated zombie movies. It starts out like any zombie movie, no explanation on why there are zombies. John Marston is at home with his family, when Uncle returns looking a little under the weather. Ok he is a full blown zombie and infects John’s Wife and Son. John being the naive fucker that he is, hog ties them and heads out to find a doctor.

Once you head into Blackwater to find a doctor, you find the town over run with zombies, this is you first challenge. The challenges different then Red Dead Redemption, you can’t buy safe houses. You have to clear a town of Zombies to “sleep” there. Also there is no gang hideouts, they are replaced with graveyards. In graveyards you have to clear it out just like a gang hideout. There is many differences, there is no money for there is no need for it, also no honor. You can shoot anyone with no negative repercussions. You can choose to help survivors but giving them ammo or choose to kill them and take the ammo for yourself.

There is no camping but you can quick travel from safe houses to other towns. I actually don’t like doing this considering you could miss out on mini missions on the way to your destination. These are helpful for getting items like horse pills, medicine and other things you can’t buy because there is no stores. Ammo is also worth it’s weight in gold. Keeping ammo stocks full can be pretty tough at times and it’s advised to save as much as possible.

Normal zombie rules apply in this game, destroy the brain by any means. You dead eye meter runs down slower then in Redemption which is extremely helpful. There is also a few different kinds of zombies, they almost look like they have been ripped off right from Left 4 Dead. The four kind consist of the normal zombies, a fast crawler type, a spitter and a fat fucker that can mow you down with ease. All of them are pretty easily disposed of, but the crawler can be a pain in the ass.
These fuckers piss me off

Zombies aren’t the only mythical creatures around there are others, I am going to tell you play and find out yourself, I really enjoyed what I found. The animals are also zombies and it scares the shit out of me, the animals can fuck you up quickly. The cougars really are a pain in the ass, there really isn’t hunting but you can collect teeth and hearts from the undead animals. My first encounter with undead animals didn't end well I wasted all my ammo and got eating by wolves.

Some of my favourite characters reappear, namely my favourite one Seth, the grave robber. He actually seems pretty stoked that the dead are walking the earth. This is some of the reasons you should beat the first game then play this one. You will understand the character better. It is not a squeal because the end of Redemption doesn’t match up with the beginning of Undead Nightmare. But I don’t want to give any spoiler, but it doesn’t matter if the games match up.

There is one extra online game mode and it’s a survival mode. You fight never ending waves of zombie attacks. This is pretty fun and entertaining. This is also a great was to level up fast. Other then that, you can also change your character to a zombie for free roam and some other game modes. With those said there isn’t many other changes to online play, which I don’t mind. Maybe doing some graveyard clearing or making town safe would be pretty sweet online.
I really don’t know what else to say about this game, it is really enjoy blasting zombie skulls wide open. The story is nice and twisted, I like how the night has a weird yellow green tint to the sky. It’s pretty cool that you can ride a undead horse, it is hard to control but doesn’t run out of stamina. I don’t suggest riding these all the time but sometime they get you out of a pinch. If you are done with Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare is a kick ass add on. One of the strangest add on I have ever seen. It really feels like a whole new game.

Make sure you to download Undead Nightmare and have fun fucking up zombies left and right.
Some of the mythical creature are the four horse of the apocalypse

Fuck Quick Scopes

I have been playing a little of Modern Warfare 2 the last couple of days. Let me just say fuck quick scopes, fuck it in its dirty ass. I don't get the appeal of it all, if you want people to die in one hit, play some hardcore or something. Or is the fact people can push two buttons in recession to get a one shot kill. It is fucking stupid. Do whenever you want I guess.

My brother only plays with the noobtube and actually he does okay with it. Sucks ass with everything else. Shit, sometimes I like to have a riot shield and a throwing knife. These sort of tactics piss people off. Actually if you want some good videos of pissing people off, check out this Machinima video series. It's really good and has one of my favorite piss off moves, the corner trap. Try that out, next time one of your teammates is bitching about your gameplay.

Another video series I like on youtube is Cr1TiKaL's channel. He has a video series entitled Fun Tactics, it is about some funny shit you can do on Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. Mostly I like this other videos of retro games or games that aren't that popular with gameplay commentary. They are hilarious, his sense of humour is almost dry and he tell wonderful stories so check that out.

Okay, back to my Call of Duty experience, I am sucking at Modern Warfare 2 lately. I think I like Black Ops better to tell you the truth. I like the levels better, the weapons, the currency system used. I love the customizable emblems and I have seen some fucking sweet ones. Right now mine is the stepchild snowboards logo. I got one compliment so far, it's sort of a smaller snowboard company. I really miss Black Ops, I only borrowed it for a few months from a friend, hell I even bought the new map pack. Sometime I will get it again, might wait till the next Call of Duty is out, so I can get it cheap.

New Releases April 19th 2011

This Tuesday has a couple big releases, mainly SOCOM 4 and Mortal Kombat!!!!!! There is a also a theme I noticed. Remakes and squeals are in this week. There is only one original game coming out Tuesday and it sounds like it isn’t a new idea. We must have thought of everything and have to resort to reusing old ideas, or was it that these games there so good that we needed more. Game series are getting very big lately with Final Fantasy having over 45 games including I through XIII plus side stories and spin offs. Reminds me of porn, like back door sluts 9, really?… there was eight before that?

I am super fucking pumped about this game, and I have been arguing all weekend with my friend about it. He likes how the last few were, completely free 3D movement and sidestepping. He also liked how they could change weapons and stances. We both played the demo, he just wasn’t impressed. My defence was pretty much all the hype and buzz around the game. The most I was pumped about going back 2Dish side scroller.
Them titties be nice but I don't know about that fac
I think most of the games in the series didn’t do well outside this realm. This isn’t the only change to Mortal Kombat, this game has been completely redone. Nearly all the original characters are there and not many of the new ones but some are make it. One of the cool things was that every character has his own movements and characteristics, so it’s not like Reptile, Sub-Zero and Scorpion are just the same ninja with different colors.
The environments are straight out of the first two original games and look fantastic. The combat is good and feel natural, combos flow nicely, and contributes to a special meter. This special meter has three bars to fill, the first is a combo breaker, the second is a enhanced special attack, and the third is a special combo called a X Ray move. This is fucking cool, as the name suggest, as you do powerful attacks in your combo, you see bones breaking and organs rupture. At the end of a round the fighter looks really  beat up and at the end of a fight, one of the fighters is not getting up. The fatalities are fucking insane and must guarantee a solid Mature rating. Multiplayer has a few options, there is tag team mode. Tag teaming has a cool way of having one player start a combo with one player and end it with another. Also there is online multiplayer, I heard of a few game moods, but one caught my attention. That was some sort of round robin style tournament, some what of a fight club feel. A group of players watch two others fight it out and after someone fights the winner. It reminds me of friends at home passing around controllers and calling “next”. NetherRealm said they worked hard on the game’s online gameplay and I hope it shows. Mortal Kombat is a must have for any fan of the series and still holds up for a newbie. Make sure to get this one.

SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals (PS3)
Developers: Zipper Interactive
Publishers: Sony Computer Entertainment
April 19th 2011

I am pretty excited for SOCOM 4, I have been playing the multiplayer beta for the last few weeks and I wasn’t very impressed, but it was fun and entertaining. I did enjoy it, but it was too much like a third person version of MAG. It was pretty much a facelift on MAG, but still a solid game. I was playing a lot of Black Ops before and the third person was a good change of pace and the added cover and shooting techniques were great. I was fucking terrible at this game though, the different zooming modes confused me. Handling the camera I thought was difficult, and the fact that, the players names shrunk down to a diamond when they got far enough away. The screennames period, got in the way, but this was a Beta test, right? I am sure they have fixed plenty. Using cover and combat game tactics to get multi kills is almost, more satisfying then Call of Duty. Using the Playstation Move was weird but not too bad, I am sure it would be kick ass with the Playstation Sharpshooter. SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals is almost a must buy.

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection (PSP)
Developers: Square Enix
Publishers: Square Enix
April 19th 2011

A compilation game consisting of remakes of Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. “Interlude” is sort of a short episode linking the two games together. I loved Final Fantasy IV, or was it Final Fantasy II….wait…or was it Final Fantasy III or wasn’t that really Final Fantasy VI. Fuck Final Fantasy is confusing.

Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy HD (PS3)
Developers: Ubisoft Montreal
Publishers: Ubisoft
April 19th 2011

Get all three Prince of Persia games in one! I never really liked the Prince of Persia series, seemed liked a watered down version of God of War. I do have respect for Prince of Persia though, it is a good game. It’s a spin off of 1989 Apple 2 game of the same name. I would consider picking this one up if it was a good price, the fans must be stoked.

Portal 2 (PS3/ Xbox 360)
Developers: Valve Corporation
Publishers: Value Corporation
April 19th 2011

I heard lots about Portal, don’t know why I never played it. I am sure the squeal will be talked about just as much. Portal 2 adds more features to this highly acclaimed platformer. Plus, the smartest move they made in this squeal was making the heroine less clothed and thus sexier.

Conduit 2 (Wii)
Developers: High Voltage Software
Publishers: SEGA
April 19th 2011

A first person shooter for Wii, I am kind of intrigued for this one. I am not much of a Wii player and never played The Conduit. So I can’t say much about the squeal Conduit 2. I am thinking about finding a cheap Wii somewhere but I can’t actually see myself paying full price for a new Wii game.

The Kore Gang (Wii)
Developers: Zionk Games, Unique Development Studio, SnapDragon Games
Publishers: Pixonauts, Games Foundation, Atari
April 19th 2011

Apparently this game has been passed around from publishers and developers for roughly ten years. Originally The Kore Gang was set for the X box in 2003. That is quite a delay, I hope in eight years they put a shit ton of work into it. The gimmick of this game is that you can change between the three antagonists to use different abilities. This is the key to solving puzzles in this jump and run action adventure game. By the general look of this game, it might fly beneath my radar.

Section 8: Prejudice (X box Live Arcade)
Developers: TimeGate Studios
Publishers: TimeGate Studios
April 20th 2011

Section 8 is a first person shooter using the unreal engine. Of course, Section 8: Prejudice is the squeal. Unlike the first, Prejudice will be a download-only and promises to have more content then the first. I don’t fully understand this concept, but ok, sure. An Playstation Network version will be coming out this summer.

Retro Sundays

Metal Slug is one of my favorite arcade based series. There used to be a Metal Slug SNK machine in the corner store in my hometown. I used to spend tons of quarters to beat it in a single sitting. I remember being quite young, must have been around 10 years old. There was also a pool table in this back room of the corner store, lots of the local teenagers hung out, playing pool. I because so go a Metal Slug, that the other kids would pay for my quarters, to help them get farther in the game. It was impossible to get far on your own.

The infamous Super Vehicle
Well the Metal Slug series has been around since 1996 as a SNK produced, Nazca developed arcade machine. It's a classic run and gun story, and the fun factor is very high. I fucking couldn't tell you a thing about the plot or story of the game. Player one plays as Marco Rossi, he is the only character I can remember out of the four. It is clear who the enemies are and it is your job to shoot them in the face, anyway possible. Along the way, are prisoners of war which you can free, in return they grant you bonus items or weapon up grades. Let's not forgot about Metal Super "Super Vehicle", a controllable tank that has a gun turret and a cannon.

They are ridiculous
Metal slug is a 2d left to right side scroller. The objective is to blast your way through hordes and hordes of enemies to get to a boss battle. Enemies include various types of foot soldiers, tanks, mobile artillery, aircraft, boats, armored personnel carriers and more. One thing I really like about this series, was when you didn't come in guns a blazing. The enemies are usually doing leisure activities like; sunbathing or cooking over a fire, often they are startled to see you. The bosses are over exaggerated monstrosities of death. Mostly they are a big ass tank or plane, that has tons of killing power. Sometimes it is enemy character like the boss of the third stage is a big black guy with a chain gun.

Nom Nom Nom Braiiinssss......
Metal Slug get high praise for its humor, and fluid hand drawn animation. Metal Slug was so successful, that it spawned six squeals. The squeals come on a varied amounts of ports ranging from arcade machines to the new Metal Slug 7 on Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable, released in 2008. The series in my mind played well and added new vehicles, weapons and enemies including aliens, mummies and zombies. With Metal Slug 2 came some character transformations, like get fat and slow when you eat to much food, or turning into a zombie in the zombie level.

I'd tap that...
I love Metal Slug and I think you should too. Metal Slug Anthology is availible for Playstation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS and a swear I have seen it on X box. There is a good deal now Playstaion Network right now. If you are a Playstation exclusive member you can buy it for 5.99. So go out there and get a copy. Hell, go out and get the newest on as well, it is not included in the anthology.

NAT type.....

I have spent hours on the phone and computer trying to change my NAT type on my router. I am by no means a computer tech, I just watch DIY videos on youtube. What is a NAT type, I do not really know, but mine is NAT type 3. When ever I check my connection on my PS3, it says "When the NAT type is type 3, chat or communication features of games may be restricted." It is hard to hear or talk sometimes, but gameplay seemed good enough.

That was untill SuperTeeJ and I, would try to game together online. We could never join into each others lobbies. First it was Little Big Planet, now Red Dead Redemption. Thing has happened with out friends online with Call of Duty and various other games. Not all the time though, SuperTeeJ was almost impossible to play with. So I called up Sony to see why the fuck I didn't have the best in online gaming. The Sony rep said that it's because I had a NAT type 3 and Playstation is more compatible with type 2 or 1. He said I need to get a hold of my internet provider and router manufacturer, they would have to change it. Then he gave me a bunch of TCP and UDP port numbers.

At this point it was too late to call Telus. A would have to do it in the morning. Now we are at today I called telus and they lead me through my router settings and all they could do was change one option and that didn't work. I call the router manufacturer Gigaset, the guy said he was not the right department and transferred me to the right department which is only open from 3am to noon. He also told me to go to portforward.com. I went there and it seemed really helpful and could fix my problem. I had me back again in my router setting and this time changing ports addresses and making my IP address static. I could change all of the ports I need to except for one, this I think is why that didn't work.

My last resort was to call Geek Squad and ask some questions. They were surprised I want to change my NAT type, Apparently NAT type 3 has been the norm for routers for the last couple of years. Find a place that sells old routers would be hard. He said he has a new router and his Playstation works fine with it. He has a Linksys E300, valued around 140 bucks. I told him how Playstation is more compatible with NAT type 2 or 1. His response was that the Linksys router is most likely backwards compatible. I checked out the stats online for the E3000 and it mentioned a lot about online gaming, dropping Playstation and X Boxs' names.

By the sounds of it, I am going to buy a better router then what I have now. Hopefully that fixes my problem. For now I guess NAT type 3 will have to work.

Piece of shit

My friends has been talking shit about my blog. SO.... I have decided to give out his gamertag for X box Live. It is Green Goblin69. I do not know if you need spaces or capitals. He says you do. I have no idea why he would give me his gamertag for X Box live. He knows that I don't have an X Box.

Red Dead Redemption Review

When I picked up this game, the clerk told me that it was in his top 3, that is a bold statement. As a gamer with 22 years of experience, it is hard to say what are my top 3. He was right to have this game in his top 3 list, for sure. Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar is a unbelievably good game. I am not a huge fan of Grand Theft Auto 3 and up, it was fun to run around, carjack people and go on a killing spree. Just the story and missions really disappointed me. Red Dead Redemption is based after Red Dead Revolver, which was a really good game for PS2 or X Box, and is set in the turn of the twentieth century.

You start in New Austin, which is located just above Mexico, as John Marston. A former outlaw gone straight, but his past soon catches up with him. Blackmailed to locate three of his former gang members, after a short altercation with Bill Williamson (one of his former gang mate) you are shot and left for dead. Luckly for you, Bonnie Macfarlane discovers you on the side of the trail and brings you to a doctor, saving your life. The story unfolds quite nicely in three or four chapters, depending how you look at it. Being a rockstar game means open world sand box type environment, and I believe it is the best I have seen so far.

There are element of good and bad in the game, sort of like the Fable series, you can choose if John Marston is good or bad or a little of both. You can help people or just double cross them or better yet, just shoot them in the face. Be careful though, there is a law system in place. Breaking a law with result in Sheriffs and Lawmen that will chase you down and, well either arrest or (remember this is the wild west) kill you. If you manage to outrun the sheriffs and loose your “Wanted” status you will have a bounty on your head. This means Bounty Hunters will also track you. Rockstar did a great job with the Fame and Honor systems. I always play a game like this as “good” as possible for the first run. Sometime you just fuck up and do something evil and the game notices. Fame on the other hand is different, it doesn’t matter how you go about your actions. The more you do the more famous you get and there are perks being a celebrity.

I have said this before but I am not a western fan, never cared for the movies and there really are not many game devoted to this genre. Red Dead Redemption is by far the best adaptation of a western since Gun Smoke for NES. The under lying theme of lying, cheating, deceit, sex, drugs, and racism still stand true in modern North American life. Want I found in this game is that John Marston is a little too modest and puts his trust into some sketchy characters. Every character in the game, no matter how major or minor, have a great deal of depth and personality. Another thing I really enjoyed was the look of the characters, not as boxy as the GTA series.

There is so much more then just the main story to indulge in. You kinda have two themes of play, Gunslinger and Rancher. The first few missions are ranched based followed by some hired gun work for Sheriffs and others. Beside the main story there are “stranger” side missions and countless amount of other “hobbies”. Hunting and gathering plants can be very fun and useful. You can search the wild frontier for lost treasure or to clear out gang hideouts. Maybe you want to do some jobs in towns like like night watch or break a horse for an rancher. Try your hand at Bounty Hunting and make better money if you can bring them back alive. If this is all wearing you down, kick back and have a drink, play some poker or blackjack, or catch a cutting edge moving picture (movie) show. There are plenty of mini game through out the game and depending on the mini game, are available in towns only during the day or at night.

Graphic are great and the environment is stunning. Even the time change in the game felt real. Shops and most missions are playable during the day, while others are only available at night. Some animals are more active at  dust or dawn. It rains and are storms sometimes, the thunder sounds super good on my surround sound. The game world is vast, ranging from the desert of Mexico, bog land that resembles New Orleans, to wooden glens and my favourite a trading post in the mountains (I am Canadian and this reminds me of our old ways). The building and characters are done super well and I have no complains in this department.

The controls can be a bit tricky at first. There is a few different control schemes for different actions like walking to riding a horse. Shooting in this game has a auto aim, which can be turned off. I suggest you keep it on till maybe your second time through the game. If you are familiar with Red Dead Revolver, Dead Eye aiming is back, as well as duelling. Duelling is toned down since the first Red Dead, I think its nice considering there was a lot of duels in the first one. Don’t worry if you haven’t played the first Red Dead, because it’s not a direct squeal and follows different characters. I did have a few complaints with the controls of John Marston. Just moving around can be a challenge. You can cover yourself from bullets behind almost anything and jump and slide to other spots of cover, it works well. Sometime it can get confusing with the separated crouch button. Also switching weapons is a weird at first and is right next to the aim button. In the middle of a gunfight I sometimes switch weapons instead of aiming, this is not good. Horse riding was a little tough at first, but easy to get used to. While the horses are not too bad, the carriages for some reason I found  are a lot harder. Also with auto aim I have accidentally shot my own horse in the head, trying to shoot at someone else. These are small problems compared to the whole of the game.

The landscape is breath taking

The soundtrack is pretty amazing too, the music is mainly composed by "Friends of Dean Martinez" member Bill Elm and ex member Woody Jackson along with contributions from various musicians. Jose Gonzalez, Jamie Lidell, and William Elliott Whitmore to name a few. The soundtrack add to the overall feel of the game, and I am actually considering buying it.

Let’s get to the online multiplayer aspect of the game. Unfortunately, I didn’t play much of the online and had a hard time find other players. Looks like lots of potential in there. When you start, you only have a donkey and not many weapons. There is a “free roam” where you are free to roam the open world and fight gangs and cause chaos for experience points. Experience point are used to level up and earning different characters, horses and call signs to use. There are a few game modes, but really I can’t let you much about them because I haven’t played much. I did do a couple co op missions which are pretty fun. You can find a friends and just have a shoot out with theme in free roam, but it is a lot better to team up and take on gang hideouts or just simple town folk. There are some major different between online and story mode. No money, honor or fame. You can still hunt but not collect the meat and hides, because there are no shops to sell them in. The item menu is gone replaced by your game options where you can invite friends or change game modes. I think my favourite part of online, was the poker. It feels pretty real and not cheaply done like most poker mini games in other titles. All mini games in the story mode carries over to online and kick ass.

I think it’s time for my final thoughts on the game. Beside my lack of multiplayer experience, this game is fucking off the hook. One thing that really pisses me off is that through out the game, Marston is trying to get his family back and it makes him look like a pussy sometime. There are whores everywhere in this game, back in a time, when it wasn’t unheard of to find some “company” in a saloon and it is no different in the game. If you walk close to a whore she will sometimes offer you a “date”, John always turns it down mentioning he has a wife. Sex does play a good role in this game and spoiler alert! There are a shot of nipples in this game. This game isn’t you the kiddies, there are drug references, sex and plenty of F bombs. One other thing is that the first of three parts in the game is really long and in depth. The second part is shorter and the third is even shorter, when I think it should be the longest.

Some tips I got for you are; carry lots of medicine for yourself and your horse. Break tons of wild horses, you might luck out and get one of the fastest three early in the game. Hunt lots and pick tons of flowers, and try to complete the Hunter and Survivalist challenges early. Try to do the all the challenges early as there are perks that are really sweet. I did them later in the game and they were not too much help for me at that point. There is sort of a quick save glitch. After hunting and gathering for a while if you die before completing a mission or saving at a safe house you lose everything you worked so hard for. To fix this, buy two cheap horse deeds, when you switch horses the game will save. Also to skip the annoying loot or skinning cut scene, park you horse right on the corpse and you can collect from it with out the cut scene, this is very helpful.

All in all, this is a brilliant fucking game. Everyone should have this one in there collection. Hell, you’d be a fool to over look this one. After the game is over (it took me around 30 hours to get to 92% complete), the main story is 65% of the game. With online leaderboards for some missions and a ranking system for all mission will give plenty to replay for months. Getting 100% completion is a good challenge and great for once the story is over.  Everything about this game is unbelievable and have very few complaints. Overall I give this game a 9/10. It is almost a perfect game, if the control scheme was 100% it would get a perfect score. One of the best 3rd person action games I have played in quite a while. So with that said, go out and get your cowboy on.

Obsession

There SEGA goes with plugging my Blog

I have be obsessing with my Genesis since I got it and started looking up sites to buy used SEGA games. There is about 10 titles I really want; the Sonics up to Sonic and Knuckles, Earthworm Jim 1 and 2 and a few others. Mainly I want to get the Sega 32x add on for my Genesis and I kinda wish I had a Genesis 1, instead of of the model 2. There are just cooler looking and say 16 bit right on the front. The only reason I want a 32x is for Doom 32x, Doom is pretty close to (if not) my favorite game series. Doom 3 I didn't really impress me much, I wish it looked different or something, the demons needed to look more like the originals. Really missed Pinky, that guy actually gave me nightmares. I will get to the Doom thing later, save a whole entry for Doom. Back to the 32x, I have been looking online and found some floating around 40 to 60 bucks. Going to check the pawn shops too, might luck out. Garage sale would be nice but the town I live in right now is too small and it's a little early in the year for garage sales.

By friday, I am going to try to write my first actually review. I finally completed Red Dead Redemption to about 92%, I have tons to say about it. I am trying to create a structure for this blog. Tuesdays are easy because new releases come out, but I want Friday to be a solid full review. Somewhere in the week I also want a Retro day. Somewhere I give the background on a game or series, something like I have been doing all ready. The number of veiws are are growing and I thank my readers for there time. Please tell any of your gamer pals to check it out. Also comment, let me know what games you are playing right now, or what your old favorites are.

Look at that scary MotherFucker...
I have been looking into recording games from your TV, and found some good stuff. Thinking about starting a youtube or BlogTV channel. Maybe I live stream of me playing the games I am going to review. Plus there are tons of other things I would like to record and put up here on SixteenBit. Like SuperTeeJ and I were playing Little Big Planet and just our banter doesn't belong on a kids game, we also had an epic race on and I pulled a back flip out of nowhere to my death and he high centered on a cloud. It was a nice double fail and got a good reaction. Soon you will see videos.

New Sega Genesis

The Original SixteenBit
I got a new, well new to me, Sega Genesis. Got it at King of Trade pawn shop, its pretty fucking sweet there. Tons of vintage consoles, games from Original NES to PS3 move stuff, lots of shit old sports games though. Man, those sport games coming out every year, lots of people get sick of NHL 94 when NHL 95 comes out. There were a few gems like; Altered beast; Sonic 3; Road Rash 2; Legend of Zedla and alike there priced around 20 bucks a piece. I only got Pitfall: Mayan Adventure and NHL 95 (around two bucks), the system with power cord and RF switch (fuck it's been awhile since I seen one of them). Also picked up a AV cord and extra controller. It only ran me about 35 bucks.

Setting up initially, I tried to run the AV from Genesis to my amp receiver and a dual AV cable from the amp to my TV. Didn't work out though, tried a AV few input combinations and holy shit, is the electrical converter huge, covers the power outlet. While flipping through my inputs I noticed there were two antenna options. Couldn't believe this fancy LCD HD TV had this stone age technology. Plugged in the RF switch and everything was good to go, no 7.1 surround sound but it will do. I will figure that out later, sure its possible.

Ok run down of the damage of the what I bought. First we started up NHL 95, two players, my brother and I. There was plenty of confusion at first with what team you were on, then I noticed the one controller's buttons didn't work so well. Still won 3-0 with that handicap, his paddle seemed fine. Big chain pawn shops are great places to get old games hell even new games if you look lots. Most offer a warranty of some kind but be careful shit can still not work, and a lot of the hook ups and accessories can be cheap unofficial knock offs. Still most the time they work good enough though.

I know there is a Nintendo 64 in the closet just no controllers or games, and I swear, I seen a box of Genesis games somewhere and I know Road Rash 2 is in there with a couple of other good ones. Going to be looking through storage tomorrow that's for sure. I am going to be searching more pawn shops and garage sales for some classic gaming also.

Genre: Strategy
Publisher: Sony Computer Enterainment
Developer: Pyramid
Online Play: 8 versus/ 4 Co op
Local: 8 versus/ 4 Co op

Patapon is bad for a new adventure. This one has some added multiplayer to its musical gameplay. I never really liked this game but always thought the Patapon are awesome looking.

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan (PS3/Wii/Xbox)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Shooter
Publisher: Teyon
Developer: Teyon

I don’t have any info for this game it looks like a squeal to a WiiWare game. I think it’s a shooter using the motion controllers for Playstation Move, Xbox Kinect, and Wii.

Rio (PS3/Wii/Xbox)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Party
Publisher: THQ

Another “motion: type party game, but this one is based on the animated movie Rio.  Never even heard of the movie and both are the aimed for the kiddies. Not my cup of tea.

Trackmania Turbo (DS)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Racing
Publisher: City Interactive
Developers: Firebrand Games/ Nadeo
Online Play: 4 Versus
Local Play: 4 Versus

I couldn’t find much information on this on another racing game. A couple racing games coming out this week. Most racing games don’t do to well other then the Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport, and Need for Speed series. I will have to ask my DS playing friends to check it out for me.

Squinkies (DS)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Fucking children’s game
Publisher: Activision

This piece of shit from Activision puts you in control of  Squinkie Princess in search of her fucking squinkie fucking friends. With over 250 squinkies to “collect” by winning mini games, such as Squinkies Puzzle, Squinkies Pool, Squinkies Chains, Squinkies Paint or Squinkies Chomp. This game looks terrible, and I doubt I will play it. Never know the Mini Games might be fun.

MotorStorm: Apocalypse (PS3/ Xbox)
Released Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Racing
Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
Developer: Evolution Studios
Online Play: 16 Versus
Local Play: 4 Versus

I’ve played an older MotorStorm and it was pretty rad. I am not a huge fan of the off road racing games. Freakstyle was pretty badass though. 16 player online sounds fucking cool. If I see this one in the bargain bin in a few months I will pick it up for sure.

Fantastic Pets (Xbox)
Released Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Virtual Pet
Publisher: THQ
Developer: Blitz Games

This pile of puke is a virtual pet game that probably sucks more the Tamagotchi. Tamagotchi was the only pet game out actually and the only that counted your steps and killed your pet if you didn’t feed and clean up after it. It’s exclusively for Kinect and “puts you in the game”, another stupid “motion” game.

Micheal Jackson The Experience (PS3/Xbox/Wii/DS)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Music
Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft Montreal

This a game for the Jackson fan to spend more money on the dead wacko. Kids can moonwalk and sing Michael’s infamous hits out of tune. Do you know anyone that can sing like MJ? This game is going to be impossible for me considering I can’t sing or dance.

LEGO Battles: Ninjago (DS)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Battle
Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive
Developer: Hellbent Games

Another fucking LEGO game man there is a lot of these coming out lately. Lego Batman was the last one I played and it was pretty fun actually. Being on DS will most likely cut down the gameplay compared to the console versions.

Dungeon Hunter: Alliance (PSN)
Release Date: April 12th, 2011
Genre: Action- RPG
Publisher: Gameloft

Another Gauntlet style Co op Action RPG, these games have been over done. Who has a clue if this will be another piece of shit. If it’s not too pricy I might get it, I liked Gauntlet, fucking classic.
